Edge Scheduled For Next Week’s SmackDown, Update On Rene Dupree

– The official website of the Nutter Center is advertising Edge for next Tuesday’s SmackDown taping at the venue.

Their statement reads: “For the first time ever in Dayton, see WWE’s COO Triple H and a special appearance by WWE Superstar Edge!”

Also advertised for the event is “Apex Predator” Randy Orton vs. “World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry for the World Heavyweight Championship.

– Former WWE star Rene Dupree, who now competes for All-Japan Wrestling, is suffering from a herniated disk and will be sidelined indefinitely.

– This week in the top 100 Australian pay TV programs, WWE SmackDown ranked No. 55 with 28,000 viewers while Raw ranked No. 60 with 27,000 viewers.

WWE’s Reason for Ryder Missing RAW, Night of Champions News, WWE in France

WWE returns to the Zenith Arena in Toulouse, France on April 19th, 2012 and the Bercy Sports Palace in Paris, France on April 20th, 2012.

- At tonight’s SmackDown tapings, WWE is expected to announce Cody Rhode’s opponent for the Intercontinental Title match at Night of Champions. It’s believed Ted DiBiase will get the shot.

- WWE noted on their website that Zack Ryder was set to team with Jerry Lawler on RAW last night in a rematch against David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty but Ryder couldn’t compete due to the attack from Mark Henry on last Friday’s SmackDown.

Ryder ended up competing last night in a match against Drew McIntyre for Thursday’s Superstars program.

Air Boom on SmackDown, WWE TLC Tickets, Lawler Busted Open, RAW Video

- WWE announced on RAW last night that tickets for the 2011 TLC pay-per-view will go on sale September 17th. This year’s TLC takes place from the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland on December 18th.

- Jerry Lawler suffered a busted nose on RAW last night in the match where he teamed with Sheamus to take on Michael McGillicutty and David Otunga.

- WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne are scheduled to be in action at tonight’s SmackDown tapings from Toronto.

- WWE’s YouTube page has published several clips from last night’s RAW.

Laurinaitis Seeks Answers After RAW, New CM Punk T-Shirt, RAW Trends

- Vickie Guerrero and Alex Riley were among those trending worldwide on Twitter during RAW last night.

- WWE’s shop website has released a new retro Superstar logo t-shirt for CM Punk based on his “Best in the World” t-shirt that has been a big hit.

- WWE’s website posted a backstage video of John Laurinaitis asked a WWE producer what happened with the microphones when CM Punk and Triple H were in the ring last night on RAW. Laurinaitis received a phone call and told the person on the other end that he was finding out who cut the mics. As of this writing, the video has been deleted but they may add it back later.

The Cutting Edge Announced for SmackDown, Styles Comments on RAW

- Joey Styles wrote the following on Twitter during tonight’s RAW:

“I’m watching Raw in disbelief as a Mexican Millionaire is wearing a $5 necklace and a Hall of Famer is in $5 Old Navy cargo shorts.”

- As noted before, Edge will be returning at tomorrow night’s WWE SmackDown tapings for Edge Appreciation Night. WWE announced on RAW tonight that Edge will host a special edition of The Cutting Edge with World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton and his Night of Champions opponent Mark Henry.
