I have been reading Mick Foley’s first autobiography again. I have read it about half a dozen times now but yet everytime I read it I find myself laughing and crying just as hard at the funny and sad bits.
One bit that I have taken away with me, and used it in my own life, is the bit where he says he will do wrestling shows that he doesn’t really want to do but will say to himself “do this show Mick and it will pay for the wood swing sets for the children.
When I have to write a difficult article I just rmeind myself that the money I earn from that article will go towards helping me buy something nice.
